Abigail & Nathaniel’s Bashall Barn Wedding Film
The Meet.
Nat had first seen Abigail when she served coffee and desserts at a church event he attended in March 2020. Abigail hadn't thought much of it, but in October 2020 he finally messaged Abigail on Facebook.
Nat asked if he could call Abigail and something in her made her agree. The next day, they spoke on the phone... for 3 hours.
“I think it took three conversations before I knew I was going to marry him.”
Nat and Abigail met for the first time on 17 November 2020. they'd been talking on the phone since early October, and were already completely in love (although they hadn't said that yet). At the end of the first date (a socially distanced walk in the rain, thank you COVID) he told Abigail that he loved her.
When Boris announced a further lockdown in January, with restrictions on travel, they knew they needed to do something drastic. Moving all of her things to his parents house in Nuneaton, Abigail & Nathaniel lived together until the end of lockdown. On their last day together in that house, before she moved back home, on 28 March 2021, Nat asked Abigail to marry him.
The Wedding
Members of Nat's church in Nuneaton and Abigails church in Manchester came together to conduct their wedding ceremony at Bashall Barn in Clitheroe.
Their wedding had some very emotional and personal vows and every single speech was full of love and respect and admiration for Abigail and Nathaniel.
Whilst Steve could not attend to film the wedding himself due to Covid, his associate filmmaker Kimberley did an amazing job of capturing all the footage for Steve to edit.
